Although he played for the Cardinals for two seasons, this is his first (of two total) Topps cards. Not much about Bare has been written, but on the back of his Topps card, it refers to a 2-hit, 8-0 shutout vs. the Angels on 08/16/1975, which snapped the Tigers 19-game losing streak.
