There seems to be a bit of a clarification involving Jered Weaver. As of this time, Weaver is NOT on the AL team. It seems that AL Manager Joe Girardi was misunderstood by the media regarding Weaver's possible involvement in the festivities. It has been confirmed that as of right now though, Torii Hunter remains the only Angel on the team.
In other news, Heath Bell of the Padres, who was running fifth in the Final Man Voting, has been added to the Roster as the replacement for Yovani Gallardo, who was injured prior to being selected to the NL squad. Bell joins first baseman Adrian Gonzalez as the Padres' representatives on the NL All-Star team.
And with the news that Mariano Rivera will not be participating in the festivities so he could rest some minor injuries, Rays closer Rafael Soriano was named as his replacement on the AL roster. Soriano, a first-time All-Star, joins starters Evan Longoria & Carl Crawford, and pitcher David Price to the AL All-Star team.
For those who now have to add Bell and Soriano to your All-Star binder (come on, I can't be the only one doing this), Heath Bell's cards are #542 and SDP15 in the 17-card Padres team set; Rafael Soriano appears on card #514 in the regular set and TBR17 in the Rays team set.
Sincerely,
JayBee Anama

I wonder what would be the outcome of the replacements. Will they be much better or what. Hmmm... something to think about..
