Ethier Replaces Victorino on NL ASG Roster

And in the end, Andre Ethier gets to go home after all.

Just a day after it was announced that Shane Victorino won the Final Man spot on the NL All-Star Team, he was placed on the 15-day DL with a thumb injury.  So Ethier, who was second in the NL Final Man voting, now joins fellow Dodgers Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp on the National League roster.  In what will be his second straight All-Star Game appearance, Ethier started last year's ASG in centerfield.

More players will inevitably have to be replaced on these rosters, so stay tuned.

Sincerely,

I love comments. Please leave comments!!! (Ego, hush). Just keep your words clean (I show my kids this stuff), and the comment will be accepted.

If you must leave a comment anonymously, that's fine too. Although I wish you wouldn't. I'd like to get to know the people who actually read this humble little blog.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
