And the 2010 Topps Red Hot Rookie #'s 8 & 9 Cards Go To...‏


Those holding those Red Hot Rookie Redemption cards better get them logged in to Topps quickly as it has just been announced that card #'s 8 and 9 belong to none other than Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals and Mike Minor of the Atlanta Braves.

Strasburg, the Nationals' pitching phenom who took the hobby by storm in 2010, made his major league debut on June 8 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 12 games, all starts, he has a record of 5-3 with an ERA of 2.91, a whopping 92 strikeouts in 68 innings of work (as of September 9, 2010).


Minor, a pitcher for the Braves, made his major league debut on August 9 against the San Francisco Giants. In 5 games, all of them starts, he is 3-0 with an ERA of 5.33, and 31 strikeouts in 27 innings of work (as of September 9, 2010).

Although neither card is autographed, fans of both the Nationals and Braves will want to add these cards to their collections. Ladies and Gentlemen, START REDEEMING!!!
