After cleaning out the blogroll at the beginning of October, the SCBR had 355 active blogs and one new inductee into the SCBR Hall of Fame (Vintage Sportscards). As of right now, there are 361 active blogs, thanks in part to the Night Owl who has a lot more blogs on his blogroll than I do. So the big roll picked up six new blogs. Thanks Greg.
Here are the blogs that sadly will have to be removed thanks to six months of inactivity:
- Card Collector Universe
- 1,000,000 Hits
- Sports Card Memories
- Auto-Matic for the People (the Cardboard Junkie's side project finally hit the wall for inactivity)
- Hand Collated
- The Topps Card Collector's Blog
- Wrestling With Cardboard
- Card Collector Digest (which ends the legacy of Wax Heaven)
- My First Cards
- St. Louis Cardinals Cards
- Rainout Sports Cards
I have been noticing a trend lately. Many of the bloggers that have been in the community for a long time have seemed to move on to other ventures, which is a good thing. To wit:
- Chris Harris (Stale Gum) is a columnist for Sports Collectors Daily,
- Doug Cataldo (Voice of the Collector) and Ryan Cracknell (Trader Crack's) have been busy with Cardboard Connection (Chris Stufflestreet of Vintage Sportscards was also a part of CC),
- Susan Lulgjuraj (Cards by Sooz) who was already an established writer for the Press of Atlantic City when she was writing the HOF blog A Cardboard Problem, is now an editor for Beckett Media

I love comments. Please leave comments!!! (Ego, hush). Just keep your words clean (I show my kids this stuff), and the comment will be accepted.
If you must leave a comment anonymously, that's fine too. Although I wish you wouldn't. I'd like to get to know the people who actually read this humble little blog.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
JayBee Anama
