Congratulations to Andre Dawson for being elected into the Hall of Fame in what was his ninth year on the ballot!!!

The players whose names are italicized will appear on next year's ballot, having surpassed the five percent rule to stay on (27 votes).

According to the Baseball Hall of Fame website, 539 ballots were cast, five of them were BLANK!!!

Sincerely,

JayBee Anama

P.S. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.2. Also, do not weep for Blyleven. He is assured a piece of immortality as it has been proven before that the person with the most votes who does not get voted into the HOF will eventually be in the future.

P.S.3. Cheers to The Hawk!!! May the cap on his plaque be of the Cubs!!! jba

I love comments. Please leave comments!!! (Ego, hush). Just keep your words clean (I show my kids this stuff), and the comment will be accepted.

If you must leave a comment anonymously, that's fine too. Although I wish you wouldn't. I'd like to get to know the people who actually read this humble little blog.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

JayBee Anama
